When an insurer adopts three such products or even more as standalone products it ends up with product silos. Each product with different AI, different customer UX, different supply chain workflows, different payments process and different data.
Should they have a flexible platform for all products, new and old, and with APIs evolve a unified portfolio with a complete view of customers of multiple products?
AXA has this morning revealed that it will be the first panel member to provide a new car insurance product via start-up Brolly. Scheduled to launch in March it includes a 24hr claims helpline, cover for replacement keys and locks, as well as windscreen repair.
