Great to see an insurer being the catalyst to bring effective open source BlockChain solution to the whole insurance market.
BlockChain experts- you've got until November 28th to be chosen as a finalist and present at the BlockChain Summit at Olympia in London.
BlockChain has Talent- time to prove it! I do wonder how one reconciles the the right to redact, remove, correct private data held in a BlockChain with the decentralised and anarchic nature of BlockChain. Where is the guard and who guards the guard to ensure change requests are bona fide? How will BlockChain support portability in a publicly available format? That's where the talent is required.
Congratulations to Maarten Ectors CDO at Legal & General for kick-starting this.
Legal & General, the FTSE 100 UK insurer, recently announced the BlockChain's Got Talent Competition, the first Open Source BlockChain Insurance competition. The judging will happen at the BlockChain Summit on the 28th of November in Olympia in London. Participants summit a 1 minute video in advance. Finalists will demo on stage. The winner will get £10,000 towards creating an open source minimum valuable product. Afterwards further collaboration is possible.
